Code of Conduct

At CAP-Jaipur, we are committed to fostering a culture of respect, integrity and excellence. This Code of Conduct sets the standards of behavior expected from all participants, including players, coaches, officials, parents and other members of the CAP-Jaipur community.

General Principles

  • Respect: All members must treat each other with respect, including teammates, opponents, coaches, officials and spectators. Any form of discrimination, harassment or abusive behavior will not be tolerated.
  • Integrity: Players and members must uphold honesty and fairness in all their actions, both on and off the field.
  • Responsibility: Every individual is accountable for their behavior and must conduct themselves in a way that reflects positively on CAP-Jaipur.

Players’ Responsibilities

  • Sportsmanship: Always play with fairness, honesty and a competitive spirit while maintaining respect for opponents and officials.
  • Commitment: Attend all training sessions, matches and team meetings. If unable to attend, inform the coach in advance.
  • Discipline: Follow coaches’ instructions and accept decisions without dispute. Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
  • Substance-Free Sport: Players must comply with CAP-Jaipur’s Anti-Doping Policy and refrain from using any prohibited substances.

Coaches’ Responsibilities

  • Role Model: Coaches must demonstrate professionalism and lead by example in behavior and ethics.
  • Player Development: Provide structured and progressive training programs that focus on skill development, discipline and sportsmanship.
  • Fairness & Respect: Treat all players equally, regardless of skill level, background or experience.
  • Policy Compliance: Adhere to all CAP-Jaipur policies, including Anti-Doping and Safety Regulations.

Officials’ Responsibilities

  • Fair Play: Officiate matches impartially and apply the rules of the game consistently.
  • Respect & Professionalism: Treat players, coaches and spectators with dignity while maintaining composure in all situations.
  • Safety First: Ensure a safe playing environment and address any misconduct or unsafe behavior immediately.

Parents’ and Spectators’ Responsibilities

  • Supportive Environment: Encourage all players, not just their own child. Applaud good performances from both teams.
  • Respect for Decisions: Accept and respect the decisions of coaches and officials without confrontation.
  • Positive Conduct: Refrain from using offensive language or engaging in disruptive behavior. Serve as a role model for young players.

Breach of Code of Conduct

  • Reporting Violations: Any breach of this Code of Conduct should be reported to CAP-Jaipur management.
  • Investigation Process: All reports will be reviewed fairly and appropriate action will be taken.
  • Consequences: Disciplinary actions may include warnings, suspensions or removal from CAP-Jaipur activities, depending on the severity of the violation.

Amendments and Updates

CAP-Jaipur reserves the right to modify this Code of Conduct as needed. Any significant updates will be communicated to members, ensuring the policies remain effective and relevant.

By being a part of CAP-Jaipur, all participants agree to uphold this Code of Conduct and contribute to a positive and professional cricketing environment.
